Final Fifteen! RUNNER UP...

PHOTOS ARE IN..THANKS BILL

Now for the 'His' Pinto.....

I bought this one in the fall of 2000. A coworker that knew I was looking to build another circle track Pinto told me about this one he saw at a gas station/garage. It belonged to the owners mother and was her daily driver until late summer that year. It had 32K, a 2.3/C3/6.75", and was tan with cloth chamois's interior. When I saw it I had doubts about it going to the track as it was in very good shape (less the right door and interior). She fired right up and drove onto my trailer. Connie and I decided very quickly to register it, at least for a while. All it took was one cruise night and we were hooked. The decision was made to keep it on the road and put a V8 in it, but my attention soon turned to an EFI 2.3T. The car is now yellow with black interior.

In addition to the EFI 2.3T, I also installed/swapped:
T-5 5spd,
AeroStar aluminum driveshaft,
8" rear from a Maverick,
Granada rotors,
FMIC,
Crusin' Wagon front spoiler,
all glass hatch,
79/80 Pinto rear spoiler,
Mustang/Cobra II front & rear sway bars,
factory Pinto tach. & gauges,
1973 Mustang wheels,
and Ford 'Zinc Yellow' color code 'B7'

Thanks for looking,
Bill
