Calenders for 2010 start early this year!
« on: April 13, 2009, 10:40:46 AM »
Start taking those Pics for the 2010 Pinto Car Club Calender.
All Entries that make the 12 months of the 2010 calender will have a featured article here at FordPinto.com
Details will be posted here so stay toon.

In addition we'll be producing the first PCCA Forgotten Ponies Calender.
This will be a homage to those poor rusty pieces of yard art, field markers and lonsome horse.
So as you crawl the back woods, salvage yards and not so empty deserts don't for get your cameras.

Again details will be posted soon.

What about us "in-betweenies"... whose cars are running but otherwise look at home in a field, wrecking yard, etc...?  ::)

Keep the images coming.

Yup, sure is her in silver. She started out the ugly brown color. I was gonna paint her red. Painted the driver side fender silver when I replaced it so I painted the whole car silver.. That's not the final color though. I have decided it will be blue.

Oh, I am sorry... No, no no.. Wildfire looks good in that color. lol Harold II has had a very rough life so she looked bad. I'm in the process of finding out what color blue my mom's 71 sedan was. Mine will be the same color, or very close to it. Figure if it was good enough for Harold it's good enough for Harold II. ;D

For what it's worth, We should pick 12 new cars for the calender, no repeats. I was very proud of being in the group of 2009 and think every car can be photographed for calender presentation. start taking pictures pinto people. dan. :welcome:

I can't imagine any angle mine could be photographed from that would deem it suitable for inclusion in a calendar     Maybe a silhouette taken at midnight or something ::) :-\    In theory however, I tend to agree with you that it would be nice to see twelve new cars in the 2010 calendar.  If repeats were not allowed to occur for 3 - 5 years, it might encourage some us whose Pintos are cosmetically challenged to whip them into shape!  Just my two cents worth.

As far as angle! I like the down low to up high angle!!  ;D  I already submitted my pics of the Ghost! Maybe I should go take a pic of what the Green Machine looks like as of right now! LOL

I agree Kim.. The ugly ones deserve a chance, but by vote they won't get one... And only one entry per person. That way if someone has three different cars they could only have one in the calendar , unless they were to have all three on one page.

So I can't submit these, because I would rather have my "Shiney" Pinto in the Calender! LOL

She has a tarp over most of her, but the front ended up being a holder for the other car/ m/c covers! LOL

I agree that previous Pintos should not be allowed for a period of time, I'm proud that mine was picked in 2009 but 12 new ones would be cool. Therefore, since we are submitting any and all Pintos including ugly ones or works in progress, I proudly submit my newest member of my fleet, "The Cruiser"  :hypno:  :o :amazed: :cheesy_n:
