In moorpark Ca 20 min from Ventura. Its not that i don't think the 2.3 have power, its that its not to easy to come by a cheap mustang or pinto. 2 The track i want to run on limits you to what you can do to the frame big time ( as i read) . And i dont feel like pulling frames its not to easy to do in my garage. 3 They dont put the front wheel cars in there own class which i don't care what anyone says they kick the rear wheel cars butt. A honda civic won the pinto stocks last night up aganst atleast 5 or 6 pintos and mustangs. I talked to a few guys in the pits and they told me that all the pinto guys are pissed off. They don't think front wheel cars should be racing with them, but the track guys said to bad we do not have enough cars to split them in class. So what that ment is 2007 they will not change a damn thing. The dwarf cars are getting to be really populer and they are cheap and fast as hell. They cost not much more then what you will pay in building a pinto. There easy to work on, and they will do laps around a 2.3. Not dogging on the 2.3 remeber i do have one in my 1969 VW Bug. But man i want that thrill of the sprint car, but not the cost or the danger. And these dwarf cars are exactlly that. I app. you guys trying to talk me out of it and i agree with you the mini stocks are fun, but not fast enough for me.

Tude:
i wasnt trying to talk you out of it

No i don't think that. I just don't want you guys thinking i dont like pintos, I love them. I just dont think it will work for me.

This is something I have noticed also.  I live in Fillmore and drive through Moorpark everyday to go to work.  I go out to Ventura raceway a lot and have noticed the FWD just dominating.  I got to watch a FWD Grand Am earlier this year just walk away from everyone.  I don't see why a Pinto should not still be in the running but guys just seem to have problems getting the to go around the track fast.  Just in case though if you need a 2.3 I have a nearly complete one I will give you.  I will even deliver it.
