Yes it will fit but you will need a C4/2300 bellhousing and a 2300 flex plate.

I have a 1973 C4 auto out of a 1973 Mercury Comet 302V8.

will that automatic fit my 1978 Pinto Panel wagon with a 2300cc 4 cylinder engine.

If so, what will I need and is there any modifications I will have to do....
