Need Throttle Solenoid for 1978 Pinto Sedan 2300ccm

Description: My Throttle Solenoid does not work anymore which makes it hard to get my 1978 Pinto started when the engine is cold.Has anybody one still working that I could buy or does anybody has an idea where I could get one?Could I use a substitute instead?Thanks for any help, Helmut
