Just to close this post out, The guy was a scammer, bit me hard. OH WELL, that's what I get for trusting people I don't know. Bet I don't do that again soon.

Turns out I was the 9th or 10th one scammed from this board.

Got a phone call today, from a guy in Nevada, he has 2 one piece front clips. We struck a deal, lots of blind faith on both sides. found a shipper, parts dropped off at shipper, money wired. just waiting for an email with shipping documents.
If every body is on the up'N up, and I think we all are, great deal for all concerned. Really appreciate the help of this forum/list, couldn't have done this deal without the help of the good folks here.
