losin sux good buyer
« on: May 29, 2005, 12:07:51 AM »
I sold losin sux the rear view mirror from my parts car & he sent me the money order for the part very Quickly. I'd recommend him for selling parts to, as he kept me updated on how quick I'd get the money order.

A very good buyer. Thanx!! :D

the last part of his name describes him.  he has put me off for over a month after he tells me he wants something from me.  it only takes a minute to stick a check in the mail.  sorry but i don't believe in doing business like that

no need in taking anything up with him.  i went totally out of my way to accomodate this guy.  went to junkyard and pulled speakers out of old car to test this eight track player.  20 mile round trip and only went their to get speakers to see if radio worked or not.  90 degree day and muddy as hell and all for him.  then tell him deal about radio and he said he still wants it but he had a tragedy in family and would get back with me soon.  a month later i get back a hold of him and told him i was still holding it for him.  he emails me back and tells me he is going out of town for a week.  well that week has went by also.  here he has strung me along when you know as well as i do it only takes a minute to stick check in the mail.  i am sorry if he gets offended but you just don't do business that way.  i wouldn't wait six weeks to mail it after i received his money and its not like were talking a exspensive part either i was selling it to him for ten bucks.  anyway he may be a good buyer it just will take forever to see if he really is going to send you the money.

No he has never talked to me offline about this.  My side.....Dad has a sudden heart attack and passes away.  It is Wednesday before Memorial Day and we have to get everything done and in a hurry.  The following Tuesday I go New York for a week back home for 2 weeks (still tying up stuff with Pops passing) and then gone again for 10 days all because I am a GI.  He wants to bad mouth me go ahead, I serve for him to have that right.  I will not bash him, just refuse to send him the money now that I am back in town and not stressed with obligations.

I am truly sorry to hear about your Dad's passing.  Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

In addition, thank you for being one our GIs that defends our rights and freedoms in this great country.

Thanks guys, I don't know which is easier to deal with (oxymoron) sudden passing or the slow illness.  Either way it is not pleasant.  I appreciate your kind words, thoughts and prayers.

Buyer and seller,
Maybe to fix this weird situation, the buyer might be willing to pay a little extra for the time that was put into the testing of the radio? We all run into situations that cannot be helped. And I can see both sides. Remember, we are all pinto lovers, so we are a rare breed. Sorry, I always wanted to be a counselor  ;)

Maybe the seller can find a new buyer?  Best of luck to the both of you.

My 2 cents...
If my dad passed away, the world could stop spinning and I would not notice.
10.00 is not worth the agony both parties have endured.
That is part of buisiness, people do not always do as they intend.
That is why I usually do not deal through the mail anymore.
I like to deal face to face. Parts & money exchange hands and a handshake closes the deal.
