Southern Drawl of Pintos- Trip to Carlisle
« on: March 27, 2011, 10:26:41 AM »
Well, we are getting closer and plans are forming all around. It's time to gather the horses and see who and when folks are coming from the south and see if we can join each other on the road- meet up with the Stampede either in St. Louis, Missouri or Indianapolis, Indiana. Many folks have been asking my schedule for the trip & I have not had the time to lock down days etc with the family until now. Currenlty I have planned to leave Huntsville Al May 28th or 29th and head stright to Indianapolis, Indiana by the 31st. We could alter the trip to go to St. Louis, Missouri should there be more folks inclided or pointed to Carlisle in this direction. We (Wife & 2 kids ages 9 & 12) will be traveling in a Ford Excursion with my Green Beeter Runabout in tow. Whoo Hoo-- Drink that gas! Once we meet up with Norm and the gang we follow their schedule and route but before- it's all about freewheelin with the Ponies!

We will be staying at Pheasant Field B&B in Carlisle and leaving Sunday late afternoon for a week of camping as we mieander back towards Alabama.

Light em up guys (and Gals)...  What's your plans?

Weren't the Southerners coming up called the Southern Invasion? I wish Robert (Carolina Boy) could lead that charge...

Chad, I know you and your family took a huge blow losing your little one the way you did. I am not trying to make light of that but maybe to get away for a little bit might be what the Dr. ordered. Whatever you do, we are thinking of you in this terrible time. HUGS
One can never have too many Pintos!

Chad,
We were looking forward to meeting you in Carlisle but I most definitely understand your decision.  As Scott said, family is definitely more important! You and Kat remain in my prayers.
