Anyone going from the North?
« on: February 02, 2011, 06:26:07 PM »
Anyone going from the North? I see the stampede for people coming from the west. But it would be way out of my way to go from NY down and over to come back. So wondering if anyone is coming from north passing through NY? Maybe we could catch up and make our own short cruize?

I am from Atlanta. Just north of Bath. 45 minutes south of Rochester.

good morning,
I'm headed into Carlisle more than likely the Wendsday night before the show out of Buffalo via the 390 with 2-4 trailer rigs,we leave around 9-10PM. We stop just over the PA border and catch 2-3 hours sleep, and then go the distance to the show,we pull in around 6-7 AM. Get ahold of me if you want to tag along.

We will be heading 390 south to 86 then to 15 down to 80. Have not yet made any reservations. Waiting for Saturday to make sure car makes it here and runs what I determine decent. After that, I plan on making the reservations. At that point I will know what day for sure etc. Maybe on 80 we can meet up? Its just a short hop from there! LOL.

I'll be leaving Buffalo on Wednesday morning, trailering the car behind the motor home, taking the usual 390 route south and arriving at a campground near the show Wednesday to stay the night.  Then driving to the show early Thursday morning to unload the car and park the motor home on site.  My car will be in Building T for the show.

If anyone is leaving early on Wednesday they are welcome to join us.

Will be attending the NHRA GATOR NATIONALS in Florida in early March.  Will be crew on a few race cars.  I do not race the Pinto.
