I got my invitation in the mail the other day!! Getting pretty excited about it. This year we are taking Nellie Belle! It will be her first time. We are even kind of tossing it around about driving her the whole way. I'm not sure I want to put the mileage on her though. We also need to do some minor repairs first. She needs a new master cylinder or brake booster ( still not sure which yet) and also a new valve cover gasket. I finally figured out that is what the smell is! She needs a new ignition, but if we don't get to that, we can still drive her, just need to play with the key to get her to start! LOL I know it would be a lot cheaper to just drive her. Cost us over 400 bucks in fuel last year driving the Super Duty! Ouch!!
So who is going this year??
-
sending mine in this week. hope to have new doors and fenders in place.
-
I got my invitation the other day too. I'm sending my entry fee next month. ;D

Free parts deliver to Knotts if any one need. Fred ;)

Awesome. Some great people so far!! :D Can't wait to see you all. I'm sending mine in, in the next week or so!! :D Nice thing about this is that now we "HAVE" to fix Nellie Belle! We are even talking about driving her the whole way! It would be much cheaper on gas, but it would also mean putting a lot of miles on a low mileage car. Decisions decisions!

Mine can't be driven on the street.. no place to park the dually and trailer then unload.
Car runs awesome but PD wouldn't like it.. LOL..
Pinto Stock Cars Rock!!

Don't worry, bring your car and park across the street by Sears where everyone with a trailer will be. You drive across the street carefully and no one says a thing. Theirs alot of racers there. You would enjoy the conversations people will have about your ride. get a app. from the web. Fabulous Fords Forever. See you there. ;)

Crap....I've just discovered that I have a *huge* problem. I stupidly took a theater gig, the last day of which falls on....that's right...April 22nd. For some reason when I said yes, I thought the FFF show was on the 29th. Here's the question and if *anybody* can give me some insight here, I would really appreciate it: My call for the gig isn't until noon so, in theory, I could be at the show for the first few hours. The problem is the rule that says cars must remain in place until 3. Anybody know how hardassed they are on that rule? If I can sneak my car out of the show at say 11, I can attend...and if not, I can't go. And I REALLY want to go. Anybody?

yup, you were there, I have proof. At least we outnumbered the vegas by the end. At least I was not the only one today.
