Norm,
Please count me in.
After all the fun and meeting one of the greatest groups of people in the world during the original Stampede, I wouldn't miss it.
I plan to just leave Old Yeller (or green) corralled this year.
As I bought myself this nice little 77 I call Big Red. I'm planing to shine up and drive as to keep the miles down on Old Yeller.
This one might run with the "Boss" at Bristol!

I just got the call, we are doing Martinsville. Thursday May 17th 2014 will be Pinto history. Two tracks in one day. Bristol then the Wood Brothers museum and then Martinsville. Special thanks to our friends at Ford ( racing and the performance group) for their continued support. Way beyond my wildest dreams.

Hot Damn! Light em' Up Boys!

I spoke with Bristol and Martinsville today. They are looking forward to us. Martinsvilles contact told me how one of his associates came up to him asking if it is true that horses will be on the track. He laughed and told her she was too young to remember the Pinto, it's a car.
-
Looks like me, the wife (Karen) and our dog Meesha will be doing the Bristol to Martinsville run ;D From there we are going south to Charlotte to the NASCAR HOF and the Richie Evans' car. Not bringing the Pinto but will still Stampede anyway ;D
-
That's Strange, My plans are to stop at the Nascar Hall of Fame to see Richie's car on my way to Bristol.
-
Both of you be sure and let them know about the Stampede while you are there. That is allstar weekend. Maybe you can score an interview.
-
I just heard back from the NASCAR HOF and the Richie Evans Pinto WILL NOT be on display during the week of May 14th-17th. It should be viewable by Friday the 18th. For those of you who might be stopping in on the way up to the Stampede, well, they are going to be moving it around so....

Ok Iam in!! I was just waiting for one more thing to be done,,its done. I was really looking forward to Bristol, but am ok with out it. Another reason for going is I am probably the only one in the group that knew Richie Evans.I lived in a town next to Rome, his home town.I sold his tools in the day. Cant wait to get on the road with my Pinto buddies!
