Largest Propsed Mustang II meet EVER
« on: July 14, 2010, 07:42:54 AM »
We are planning a Mustang II reunion and are want to try to get 100+ II's to all come to Indianapolis in 2011.  The local Mustang Club (MCI) hosts a show every year. some years its an MCA show also.  But normally a Mustang and All Ford show.  Its is normally in June, one yr was beginning of June one year end of June... Its normally a 2-3 day event, with Dragstrip time and Circle Track time.  Once they get the Flyer and Plans done We will post them on the II forums.  Once again Lets try to get over 100 II's to show up in Indy next yr.  It would be an Unprecedented Event... as most shows have 1-3 II's in it. Carlisle and Sounds of Summer get 10-20.... Lets bury the Speedo and Suprise the whole country....

All the Pinto's that can make it are more then welcome to Attend also... would be a Huge Turnout and a great show.

That would be fun, depending on whether or not it was the same time as the Carlisle show. We are having the 40th anniversary of the Pinto June 2011 so it would depend on that.

I would LOOOOVE to see Mustang IIs assembled in one place. The sad thing is, I wonder if there are 100 MIIs still alive anymore. They're rarer than Pintos. I would love to have one muself. Good luck with the show!

I don't know Becky... I've seen more Mustang II's running around in my neck of the woods than I have Pintos!  Not many, mind you, but more than the two Pintos I know of!

Becky, there are more II's then you think... on the registry there are 4040 Mustang IIs in 59 countries.  :)

Very cool! It's a pity they're scarce around here... it's my dream to have at least one in my lifetime. ;D

Well, keep on dreaming!  After all, that's how you obtained three Pintos!
