I would like to get a feel of how many of you thinking about or planning on making the ride to attend the 40th b'day party in Carlisle in 2011. Get back to me when you are able to!

I'm not quite west COAST, but I am in Idaho, and plan to be there.

Fran and I and the 71 V8 Pinto will be there. Joe in Morgan Hill, CA
1971- 289 V8; B&M C4; 9" with 4:11 posi. Several suspension upgrades and body modifications.
1974- 2.3L wagon,4-spd,totally stock. Medium lime yellow, avacado interior, 99k miles.
1972- 1984 Mustang SVO turbo; 5-speed tremec; 9" rear w/positraction; fiberglass front & doors; upgraded suspension.

send me all information on this we are rejuvenating a 1974 pinto wagon.  but I am in need of parts and not knowing to find and I am new to this site so trying to find place to chat is not here.or I can not find it.  this would be good thing to do when it is done also hope to enter it in out cool desert nites in July next year if all goes well. will be the only pinto here.

I definitely plan to make it and will start making arrangements as soon as I can in advance. I may rent a one way U-Haul with a car trailer for part of the trip and drive the car the part of the way. I'm also planning on stopping at the Henry Ford Museum on the way back, never been there. Going to make it a family vacation.

It's been 30 years since I've been to The Henry Ford Museum but I can tell you with absolute certainty that it is well worth seeing.  Allow two days!

All west coast Pinto/ Bobcats, if you plan to go to Carlisle in 2011 check out this site www.pintostampede.com it is new, it will be updated and if you plan to make the trip to carlise, and your car is road worthy, consider driving out.  Contact the webmaster at bosspinto@pintostampede.com
