Hey everyone, my name is Bill, this is my first post here but I have been doing some reading over the past year or so.  I want to invite everyone out to the Ford Show at Quarter Aces Drag-o-way on Friday Jun 3rd in Boiling Springs (not far from Carlisle).  I race there weekly with my 73 Pinto drag car.  It would be great to see some more Pintos there seeing as how I am usually the only one.  We could set up some some match racing among a few fast Pintos and possibly do a cruise down the track as a group if we get decent numbers to attend. 


You do not have to feel pressured to race, we have a hill in which you can show your car during the racing (and still participate in a track cruise).  Please send me a message or you can feel free to call me at 717-479-8772 if you would like additional info.  You can also check out the Quarter Aces website which is updated weekly.

          Ill be there for all ford  friday nite at the drags, cant wait to see some pintos at the track. we need to see if we can line up together we can get some kool videos,, too bad we didnt have a chance last year  see you soon

I would love to be there, but I think I might be a bit busy at the show field. Besides I would hate to hurt you guys :lol:  You might strain your kneck trying to find me in the rear view. :look:

Hey Brian, thanks for the reply, we'll definitly get together for some photos. I would say we should match race, but I guess you got me beat with the 1/4 mile time you posted (what is your 1/8 mile split?). Feel free to keep in contact as the show approaches.  Can't wait to see you and some others there.


Rear Ended: Eliminations do not start until 6pm, and if we get enough cars to come out, the parade would be right before eliminations.  So if you can sneak out, we'd love to have you there. Keep me posted.

         ive gone 6.17@112mph in the 1/8 mile last year  ive done a lil tweekin this winter so it should pick up some im hoping  9.30s in the qtr

I might have to consider this, but I have to have help on the other end with the raffle and I have to make sure the car is up to it after the long trip. She will be leading the parade with the Stampede, so a little rubber on the wheel wells might be fun. No promises, but I would like to hit the track for at least a couple runs.  :read:  I will see how this pans out. maybe if we could get the track to help with the fundraiser, then I could really justify it, you know with the charity and all.  ;)

Was loading up the helmet and Slicks when it hit me.  I can't go drag racing with all I have going on.  :accident: I will meet you guys there next year, I have to focus on the charity raffle, cooking for the volunteers, watching my kids, etc. I also have to meet with Ford executives at a celebrity luncheon, I have alot going on that weekend, after driving all week, I can't push more onto the plate.  Sorry guys.

I hope we can have a bunch of Pintos on the hill cheering and a bunch of Pintos on the track racing . This is a big deal 40th anniversary . Let's show all these Ford people how crazy these Pinto drivers are . Bill
