Joe, maybe some of my pictures will be a balm to your tortured soul...
As stated in the FFF Fever thread I had a great time and was grateful to so many!  Joe, you might need to hide yourself in Kimmy and Bob's truck and come be with us!

Becky,
Thanks for the Pics, it does help a Bit. I'm not sure if riding with Kim would work out too well. I'm a racin guy, not Show n' Shine. I like perfection, but is has to have a Purpose too! I'd get found out and thrown off the Truck in Turlock ;D
Off to Groom my Hairs, shave my hooves, install new shoes..
  Feed bag is ready !

ahhh... now I feel bummed... the anticipation.. .the spoiling of the car...the plans...it's almost like Xmas for kids... after the Big Day and the wrappings are tossed and the anticipation and novelty are gone I feel a little deflated.  The Vista Rod Run in August just doesn't have that same magic, plus there might be two other Pinto Peeps besides me there, so naturally less camaraderie. Then there's the snide remarks... What's THAT doing here!? Idiots... >:(

Well , we've got 25mph winds and rain showers. No relief for at least another day. But there are Happy Horsemen & Women in the Corrals out west. FFF has elevated another Pinto paradigm to a sense of positive JUJU .  Now I've just got to get my Roll Center, Bump Steer, and Toe curve into harmony, and all will be serene.
Becky, shave off the Peaks and Valleys of your daily experiences. Re-think value, and you'll be in a constant state of amazement. Beware the power of the Horse tranq! :surprised:

Joe, on the most part the peaks and valleys show their beauty in their differences, but now and then a real steep one comes along and it's no longer beautiful, but something to overcome with time.  Sometimes it hurts. Sometimes the ordeal leaves me numb. However, once I pass the Danger Zone it gets easier and the memory of the hardship fades into something I can live with, while I rejoice in climbing that mountain high and living to tell the tale.

Becky,
Since were all about energy (Your Pm) use your frustration with others to channel their Negative back on themselves. There are very few instances where a retaliatory strike is worth the consequences. We are the not the poop bomb, but rather the lingering odor that teaches the lesson. Now if you can grab the cowpie from my hand , it will be time for you to leave the sanctuary

Joe, the poo grenade was tongue-in-cheek... way better than fisticuffs, retalitory vandalism, or violence. I have never uttered a word to the clods who think their negative thoughts out loud, as I'm pretty shy. I also am not "quick on my feet" in the retort or "snappy comeback" department, so I fume instead. Yes that hurts me more than it hurts them but it is what it is. Do I need assertiveness training? Sure.  Til then, I Yam What I Yam. ;D
