I had a 1972 powder blue Pinto in 1980.  It was my first car.  I am planning on getting another Pinto soon.  I came across your site on a yahoo search and am considering attending the event in two weeks.  Will there be any fixer uppers for sale?  Or maybe some advise on where to get one?

Thanks (insert clever Pinto related moniker here) Rob

Rob,

It would be awesome to meet you and have another Pinto enthusiast nearby to stay in contact with. Watch this post for details on how to find us in a couple weeks.

I will do that.  I didn't think it would be this difficult to find a Pinto.

Well its official... My pinto is up for sale! '78 trunk model. If anyone is interested, just drop me a PM or email at tulsaturbo@cox.net

I have come to the realization that this is one of those projects I'm never going to get to restore like I would like so I'm going to pass it on...

The only rust it has is around the drivers side floor pan (in the center area). I have a lift for those wishing to inspect the underside as well. It doesn't show in the photo but the windshield is cracked. I do have the original hubcaps. Clear title and current tags.

New clutch / pp, new steering rag-joint, Door hinges re-done, new carburator, Intake manifold was removed a blasted clean inside and out like new. Egr has been removed.
