Sorry guys, I have been buried at work since the meet and have been remiss in getting my pics posted.
Here you go. My fabulous wife Cindy did us right with pics. These are pretty much in chronological order of the weekend. Hope you enjoy.
Here's Alberto's beautiful California cruiser. What do you think of the FordPinto.com theme he has going on with the blue painters tape? Actually the three cars that drove from CA used this as paint preservation.

This is three of the four cars that arrived from Wichita, KS. In front is Pintony's '72, then Cookieboy's red '72 followed by HighHorse's wagon, the battleship as we called it. I guess we missed getting a pic of PollyAl in his '74 wagon. PollyAl boght his car new in 1974 and is still driving it. That has to be just one in a few of us!
Cookieboy trailered from 3 hours north of Minneapolis, MN down to Pintony's in IL, then the two of them trailered to Wichita KS where they picked up HighHorse and PollyAl. The four of hem traveled from Wichita to Tulsa.

I was proud to host a few meals at my home for the guys. it was the least I could do for everyone who participated. This was Friday night. I think Alberto ate 3 burgers that night!

We cleaned cars, put grilles back on, removed blue tape, removed residue from blue tape, ate and just had a great time well into the night.

Here's TulsaTurbo's green car followed ny Pintaro's wagon. TulsaTurbo is local to Tulsa. This was the maiden voyage of this green beauty since he bought it last fall. He went to KS to pick this car up the same weekend I went to MN to pick up my blue '79 last September. Pintaro and his lovely wife Roni drove over from the Oklahoma City area. This was the first time I had met these guys. I look forward to seeing them again.

This is Thomas's 3 week restoration! You would not believe the work the CA team put into rebuilding this car in three weeks. This car just made me drool, it is beautiful. It looks so simple and clean compared to my cars. That's Thomas squatting, Pintony talking (as usual!) and TulsaTurbo John standing.

This gorgeous wagon drove from CA! This is a purple beauty...if purple is your color, Pintony! This car is a new acquisition by Racer X, someone we had to protect the identity of. I think his wife didn't know he was driving to OK! (just a joke). This beauty has a custom interior that is to die for. The fellow who did the upholstery does Lear Jets, so you can figure out how nice it is!

The group of cars pretty much filled up my driveway and both sides of my street. My neighbors were quite tolerant of us!

Here's Pintaro and his lovely wife Roni. Mike owns 9 Pinto's! We can't wait to see his Pinto/Ranchero (thus Pintaro). This is a nice wagon, I think a '75.

hate to cut in but, we can't leave PollyAl out... here's one of my pictures with the 4 of us that came from Wichita with PollyAl's little red wagon ;D

This is Thomas with his three week restoration. What a beauty! He got this thing running one night and headed from CA to Tulsa the next day. Now that's confidence in your work! And in a Pinto!

This is Alberto from CA also. It is nice to find a fan of the last Pinto's. Yes Pintony, they did make Pinto's after 1973!

Here's Mike, HighHorse from Wichita KS who drove his car, a nice V8 conversion. Mike is a real inspiration for coloring outside the lines. This is the car with the battleship gray new interior, something to see. I think the gray theme started with the brushed stainless in the front air dam, what do you think? Mike is a fabricator extraordinaire! Notice the side panel windows...and wait until he tweaks with the rear end. Now that will be a first! Great work Mike.

This is Pintony with his famous little 'Rollin' in my Pinto' sedan. I am glad I finally got to see this car, a fine example of an original unrestored early car.

Show Sunday morning...5 cars on each side of the street, 2 of mine still on the driveway, missing PollyAl and Travis's car (Gerard's blue '72, some of you know it). That's the 14 Pinto's Tulsa had the pleasure of seeing this weekend.

2. Thomas, also drove from CA in his baby blue sedan. This is the sweetest baby blue Pinto out there folks, you have to see it!
Missing is Racer X in his gorgeous purple wagon, drove from CA also.
3. TulsaTurbo John in his green sedan.
4. Pintony from IL, in his original CA car.

1. HighHorse in his V8 wagon, the only one who squalled his tires in front of my house, and yes I had to get onto him...I have to live with my neighbors! Oh yeah, the torque stuck in reverse...insi de joke, LOL.
2. Pintaro, Mike and Roni from OKC, OK in their wagon.
3. And away we go! Look guys, no smoke!

Here we are at the show.
Travis drove his blue '72 sedan but did not get it into the show. It was a pleasure meeting Travis and his father, no doubt a pair of Ford lovers. If you haven't heard of Gerard's blue '72 that these fellows bought and drove home to 40 miles south of Tulsa, you need to give this a read..

Cindy gets a bunch of credit for getting the photos that make our rides look
SUPER TOUGH!!! Cindy took all the Pinto photos as we left for the car show on sunday.
Thanks again for hosting the Tulsa meet and having us Pinto NUTS over each night for some great bench racing and GREAT FOOD!!!!!
Can't remember when I have had such a good time sitting around tellin lies.
Except when at Alberto's ;D
