New springs for a early Pinto V8
« on: November 01, 2006, 01:52:32 PM »
well its time to lift the front of my 72 off the ground... my car has had a v8 in it for over 15 years and the stock front prings are setted way low..the stance looks bitchn but its too low for the street any more, or the driver is too heavy.... anyways the car had a 2.0L orignaly and I feel I need a heavier spring to lift the body away from the 15 inch wheels.

the rear spings are a issue as well. I need another inch of lift in the rear. But I figured I would take leafs from a wagon and add the smaller ones to the leafs in the car now.

What have other people done to correct your rides?
