looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

V8 Pinto Wagon I aquired today!
« on: April 12, 2010, 08:10:28 PM »
I have no idea who did the work, but i dug the car so much I bought it.  302, posi, auto, a/c.  I have a 77 Capri MKII with a V8 and sad to say I am robbing it and selling it.  Tomorrow the Pinto will have Full MSD(blaster 2, billet distrib, and 6AL box) installing flowmasters tomorrow, getting vanity plates CHP PNTO, and buying a stereo system.

Very nice!! Could that be a very rare panel wagon? Or were the rear windows  covered? I also see a frenched antenna, louvered hood, shaved door handles and the bumpers moved in. Looks great, congrats on your new toy!  ;D

Wow... other than the color, that is exactly the car I wanted when I went looking for V8 Pintos. Nice score!

Those large bumpers are integrated very well. My ideal is the 71 type smaller bumper but these look great.
I would have bought this car in a heartbeat. Smart Buy.

interior isn't real bad, needs carpet they have some thick padding laid but no carpet.  I will get pics of the custom gauge panel has 4 small gauges and a tach in the center no speedo.  We are going to tint some clear with a blue and spray it to make it a darker purple.

That car looks familar. have I seen it floating around on E-Bay a few times a couple of years ago or maybe here?  The color and chop is what makes me think I have seen it somewhere

This car floated around on Texas (Dallas) Craigslist for a while, I saw it listed at least twice over the last year or so, it did not sell quickly. Very unique car which is why it needed to go to the right buyer. Best wishes on your purchase and effort.

Robbing my V8 Capri at the moment!  Stealing the MSD, Optima battery, and Flowmasters.  I have teh Capri sold to a guy in Houston, I dropped the price ALOT since i am stealing off it.  Pinto is fixign to have a Billet distrib, 6AL, and Blaster 2 coil.  I ALSO just happen to have a 302 Roller shortblock that after the Capri is sold, will get a nice freshing up, a .550 lift cam, air gap intake.  Guy I rent a shop from builds 331 sbf's to run in his outlaw modified dirt car, they are 16-1 compression though LOL.  He said he will build me one 10.5-1 if I wanted for about 1500 bucks.  I never have any car for longer then 24 hours before the changes begin!

In stalled my Flowmasters, got inspection, tags were 275 bucks!  fixed one of the electric fans, car was running REAL warm before that.  Replaced BOTH headlights, wired a tag light, installed Pioneer 6x9's in the back, bought a good cd/mp3/bluetooth/ head unit.  Car has just been neglegted I guess.  Found out the car Mustang II V8 car front end.  Going to install the MSD distrib, blaster 2 coil, and 6AL box thursday.  Wednesday is the other fan, the stereo, and some misc stuff.

Car has just been to a couple of don't give a shizod it is just a Pinto homes me thinks!

I hate Ford firing order.  Almost caught the pinto on fire.  Had a nice flame out the carb.  Capri is robbed and for sale CHEAP with engine/trans/ect.  Just missing mufflers.
