A bit more info....

The car was originally a States car. It was built with a BOSS 302 & 4 speed.
A guy up here bought it for the engine alone, for his BOSS Mustang, that had no engine.
The guy I bought it from bought the car. He put an engine together for it. Just a 302W though. Put a T-5 behind it.
Doesn't have headers, just the cast factory type manifolds.

This car is 99.999 % rust free ! Only place I found any was on the bottom outside of the right door.

The guy had a boo boo at the track. He had the hood up cooling the engine. Time to run again he set the hood down & got distracted & forgot to lock it down.
3/4 the way down the 1/8th mile it flew iup and busted the widshield ( a glass shop found him a new one !) & cracked up the scoop. Some small (easy fix kinds) dents & bent the hindges a bit.
Found some small paint chips. No big deal. For now I'll just touch up to make sure rust doesn't start.
Told me he never ran the 1/4 mile. Just 1/8th & said it turns 7;80s. So no idea what it will do in a 1/4.

There are a few things I'll change over time....
Not much though ? It has had all rubber , ball joints etc replaced. Doors are tight as the day it came out of the factory. Everything is tight. Not one sign of past rust on the car, other than that one door, mentioned.
I'm really pumped ! I cannot build one to this level (in Canada) for what I paid. I don't even think I could build it for three times the price !

Sweet lookin ride...it should be a blast. I don't remember my 1/8 mile times but 1/4 mile with mine was low 12's. You should do that easy and maybe high 11's. Have fun !!!

At 7.80's in the eighth, it should turn mid to low 12's in the quarter.  Great car!

The car was advertised a couple weeks ? You from the area ?

I checked it out some more. Changed oil & filter, plugs & more. Then loaded it up (I live about 6 miles from pavement). Had it out for 2.5 - 3 hours.
Carb needs work, it is too rich.
After driving for that time I have a list of changes needed.

Now I know what you folks were talking about when people look, give thumbs up & the big grins others have !
Gas stn had people come over & chat. Stop lights people hang out the window with big grins and thumbs up.

It has been since the 70s since driving a Pinto : too long ! This car is so much fun !  ;D

Wish I had seen it then ! Engine is gone now.
As soon as my bank account gets over its terror of being robbed, I'll be looking for another BOSS (or just get a new style from Ford Racing).

edit due to duh moment

No idea how I had forgotten this car !
I've saved a ton of car pictures and it just got lost in the shuffle, I guess ?

A dual quad Boss 302!! that is pretty sick!!..I'll bet that intake manifold is worth a small fortune.

It's a 70s Drag Pack engine . Getting it from the fan to trans tail end. Including the oil cooler.
Trans is a B/W T-10 with Hurst shifter.
Going to be a fun car to drive !

I'll be making a bunch of changes. After the engine gets here in Sept or Oct I'll then start the search for new tires & rims. Quick measurement , looks like I can go 19" - 20" wide on the rear & still be under the car.
Plus a bunch of other changes.....

Leave yourself room for the tire to go up on the quarter panel side when hitting bumps. To keep it low & not hit the quarters usually means tucking the tires 3 or 4 inches behind the wheel lip or jacking the rear sky high so tires dont rub.

Just one quick measurement one day & it is about 19" - 20" from the inside of the tub to the inside of the lip.
I'll have time this winter to get it all figured out.

Dropped the B2 in today. The carbs in the picture are backwards. Even less room when installed the right way (for SBFs with this intake).

New ones are 3/4" shorter though.

I had plans to replace them anyway......

Lots to do before it will be driven again.
Have to get a new bell housing & test fit it. New fly wheel & clutch.
Get headers built.
Get engine re-built.
Some body work & paint.
New tires & rims. Rear will be Hoosier Pro Street Radial 29x18.50x15.
New front springs & shocks.
New front brake lines.
New carbs.......
