looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

I have got to get back down to your place and pick your brain. The only problem will be if you have that sitting around. I will not be able to talk for looking at all your toys laying around. I was told today that a purple pinto was at greer dragway last thursday running in the 5s.

Uhm, sir, can you send me one of those to test drive> I will do a complete and unbiased write up of my findings when I am done with the test. I am uncertain at this time just how involved this test may be or the time frame at wich I will be able to complete my write up! ROFLMBO! Nice mill indeed! WOW, 5's. You wont have to say you wish you had a V8 if ya can do them numbers! Impressive!

That thing outta fly when your done. I been thinking about running a split-mono leaf with caltracs on my bobcat but its still gonna be a street car.

The Arca motor isn't 140CI is it?

I wish they made fiberglass hoods for bobcats id like to have one.

good to know that suspension works good plus they cant ride and stiffer then my old lifted 4x4s I've had.

That's prolly the first 140Ci arca motor I've seen pretty cool and from how it looks it'll more then get the job done.

Yeah after i get everything else done i might just try making a hood out of glass cause id like to have one with a 2 inch cowl scoop on it.Who knows if i do it and it comes out good maybe ill spend a buttload and make one out of carbonfiber cause that would look sweet.

I'm putting the car on a serious diet with lots of glass, but I'm keeping the stock floor pan and going to run stock type suspension. NO TUBE FRAME HERE! Got to finish the cage, but with the bar I already have, it shouldn't take but maybe 1/2 a day. I feel certain that the purple Pinto is running considerably more than the 140 cubic inches I am running. I can run mid sixes now and with the ARCA motor I think
fives are easily enough within reach. Time will tell.

Don't take me wrong but mid 6's to hi 5's in the 1/8 is a BIG JUMP. I'm not saying you cant do it but aint that easy .

Obviously someone said something that upset him, do not know what, but something.

HA HA HA, gotcha, I actually had another screen name ( skratch ) already that I have decided to use. I took everything down, but I plan on starting a new thread and keeping everything together as we do different mods to the Pinto. I will post pics AND video as we go through the changes. We have actually pretty much just decided to build it as a 9.90 quarter mile car.
