looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

I am 16, and the second owner of my Pinto. Its all original (except upholstery) with 344,000 original miles. Cars in great condition, and I couldn't have chosen a better first car to own. Purchased my pinto with the money I saved up since the 5th grade, and boy was the long wait worth it!

OMG that's a beautiful Pinto!  :hypno: ;D Shiney is good! I really hope to see more pictures of this car, and of progress you make doing what you need to or want to to it. It's the color I wish my 73 station wagon was. The polished wheels on it look outstanding too!

Sounds like you are the new youngest member of the club! I started WORKING on my 78 Sedan when I was 14. Knew absolutely nothing about cars (didn't know what a starter was or where it would be), now I literally do everything on my cars myself.

I started driving my 78 Sedan when I was 19, didn't like the car one bit until then, though. My 78 sedan is a resto-mod, and a blast! in 2009 I bought a 73 station wagon which was not running and a real project (still sorting out bugs with the transmission leaking).

I'm 24 now and Pintos are by biggest past time now, second from my wife and the three kids. We all love Pintos as I'm sure you will shortly begin to realize why me and and dozens of others here suffer from OCFPD! lol

I am a Pinto Surgeon. Fixing problems and giving Pintos a chance to live again is more than a hobby, it's a passion!
