I know of one person that was able to get 77 material from them. something like this is best to call. could also do a search on google for factory or oem vinyl material reupholster auto. there are other sources and no... materials changed throughout the years

looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

we all got this because... under attachements and options below he clicked on "announce topic"

I didn't know that was an option or that it would send an email to everybody! crap! that setting needs to go away!

and... Lawerence... we would have seen it, it's just that we ALL (5000+ members) received an email "announcing it."

we appriciate you posting it, seriously, we do and you are welcome to the club. This just caught us all by surprise the way it was "announced" and we all got emails. As a member of the management board... I gotta say... that option needs to disapear. No user should have the ability to send messages to everybody on this group like that.

You didn't do wrong, it's just that option shuldn't be available to anybody but management or admins

Lawrence, don't be sorry about posting! I haven't checked my email yet, so I don't know if I got a notification.. . but I for one am glad you showed us your '75! She's beautiful! Are those factory stripes?  It's neat that you got the buildsheet with your new treasure! Of course, I'm DYING to see her interior!

P.S. My Uncle Bill had a root beer brown '75 wagon with tan interior, so I have a soft spot for brown '75s.

I'm glad to see it too!  I just scored my first Pinto, a 73 wagon.  I've already started painting it into a custom artcar, it's now the Paisley Pinto...When I've figgered out how,I'll send pix of the finished work. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car.  People were giving me the thumbs up and taking pix on the freeway from day one...Now, it will become the most iconic Pinto on the road. Paid $1300 for it with rebuilt motor...and, am investing another $1100 on brakes and miscellaneous to make sure it's longterm roadworthy as my daily driver.  I'm only too happy to invest in a car that gives so much joy.

The build sheet was under the passengers seat in the last spring. I think there should be a file for everybody to post there build sheets to get a collection.

Welcome to the Club Lawrence, don't let the complainers about your "All hand's" message get you down.  I think it is a good thing to stir things up a bit.  If the powers to be, want to stop this type of post, so be it.  They are running this thread.  I don't want to do it, nor do I have the computer skills to do it, and I appreciate their efforts to provide a Pinto club to us.  Tony

Wow, Lawrence!  I can't remember the last time I saw nearly thirty posts in a matter of less that twelve hours!  You stirred this group up!  First of all, I love your car... you got the deal of a lifetime.  Secondly, please don't take offense at anything that was said about your "announcement".  That was a fluke and is apparently a feature that no one else had ever found!  No harm done, you just caught us all off guard!  A sincere welcome to you and I hope we'll get to see more of your Pinto.

Thanks for the post!  It was like Pooh Bear got into the beehive.  LOL   Maybe one of the Admins ought to use that button about once a month/quarter, just to stir things up some.
It's been a while for me...I had to reset my password.   Keep up the good work, pics and posts!   :D    Wish I had known to look for that sheet on mine.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Great and Prosperous New Year to ALL!  and for those so inclined, Happy Pinto hunting!
