looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

Bobcat in progress
« on: May 11, 2007, 08:34:48 AM »
I'm plugging along on my 77 Bobcat HB. She has a 2.3L engine with an auto transmission, white vinyl roof and factory sunroof, along with factory air and am/fm stereo. When I bought her, I paid $400 and had to bring her home on a trailer as she had bad brakes, and though I didn't know it at the time, very little solid flooring under the front seats. Since I got her home I have removed all the seats, found original factory material to recover them with (red, yellow, orange, pink and white plaid...someon e at Mercury was on some serious stuff...) and taken out most of the flooring debris. The folks at the lot actually started the car by pouring gasoline into the top of the carb, but she only ran long enough to run that amount out. They said it was a bad fuel pump, I don't know for certain. Thus far I have added a new battery, air and pvc filters and a new fuel pump. This weekend I will do the lions' share of the work to install a new alternator and regulator, new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and belts. When I get her running I'll let the oil warm up and then change it and the filter. I have new hoses as well but need to find a place that will let me bring in my old coolant after I change it before I take the hoses off. I want to do all of this over the weekend, but since it's Mother's Day and people are already expecting me in places, I may not be able to. I'll post next week with results, and I'm going to try to add a photo to this message.

Kool.

We have similar cloth interior with orange yellow and black. Took us a long time to find the cloth, and we paid a BUNCH for it too. Well worth it to us though because of all the attention the seats get.

Post some pics soon.

I'm trying to post the pictures but right now they are coming up as being to large, so I'm trying to fix that on my Mac in iPhoto.
