Hi Mike. I give you both thumbs up for keeping your long and well-running '76 wagon, well, up and running! My '71 doesn't have as many miles on her but she's racking up memories for me as well as miles on her!  ;D

Alright I'm in!
« on: October 10, 2009, 10:26:04 PM »
I had 11 back in the day. You didn't even need to add oil & they ran forever! Now I'm 50, ready for the one I'd always envisioned. I've been looking for months, I was ready to go from Phoenix to San Diego to buy a daily driver from a soldier that was getting shipped to Iraq in a couple weeks. As luck would have it, I found one in my local paper that afternoon, 1980, 2.3 factory air PS PB $250. Bought that! Rust free body, Arizona interior is dust! Manual tranny stuck in 4th, driveshaft inside of car. Bought a used tire & I have a roller. 79k miles. We messed with it the other day & she fires great, 10 times with starting fluid. Fuel delivery problem. No fuel to pump. Ran air through lines, iffy. Pulled line connection at tank, expected free flow...what don't I know?
Then it happened! A 79 in Scottsdale on craigslist, a bare bones Pony that runs. Bought that too. I've been rapeing the 80 all day & driving the 79 without mirrors, seat belts, plates, reg.....up & down the road a few times. This 79 has the trunk, I'm going to go with this one. I have a vision...
Black, in & out Nice rims & a little meat on the back! None of the electrical works on the 79..anybody got a schmatic?
