I know of one person that was able to get 77 material from them. something like this is best to call. could also do a search on google for factory or oem vinyl material reupholster auto. there are other sources and no... materials changed throughout the years

looks like SMS only goes up to 1975. Would the colors be the same for the later models?

winsor351 - google sms auto fabrics - you will have to match your material and have a local reupholster them for you. no place to buy nos/repop covers for pintos

A new Pinto to our home
« on: December 11, 2006, 07:29:55 PM »
We purchased one of Glen and Georges Pintos today. I don't have any pics yet, but it is pictured in this link:

http://members.aol.com/cgextras/ColchesterPintosJune2006.html

It's the powder blue 77 Sedan.

The sad part is that very soon after the event in that link, George passed away. I regret that I only had a short time to get to know him; he was a very nice guy. We do hope to see Glen often. He is now working on a Fairlane.

It's a nice car Glen, we will take very good care of it.

Bill

Hey Bill,
 Nice link!
I really like the original green Pinto. ;D
 Just like mine!
Really nice to see a line of pintos all shined up and ready to run.

I got it registered today, and took it out for a spin.

Fun little car.

Had the normal reaction in public, lots of waves and thumb-ups.
