Nice!  I am going to be completely redoing the interior on my 71 sedan and I really like the wood panel you added.  I am thinkning about doing something similar and putting vynil or fabric of the metal portion of the lower dash.
Looking for:  Rear and side window louvers for a 71 sedan, 15 inch aluminum slotted mags and tires (Ansen sprint style), and an Offenhauser dual-port intake for a 2000cc motor.

Thanks, the wood paneling has held up pretty well, but after 15 years it is drying out and needs replacing. Not sure if I will stay with wood or try something different.

What kind of wood did you use?  What kind of stain did you use on the wood?  Several coats of a good polyurethane like Minwax on a 3/8 piece of luaun would hold up nicely.

Believe it or not it is just prefinished paneling from Lowes
