I know this is not the car show post area BUT i figured more people would see this. For Fabulous Fords Forever this year, we were able to get 10 cars featured in the "green" area for the 40th anniversary of the Ford Pinto. We have worked for 7 years to get this kind of recognition and we are all thrilled about it. We will be featuring a car that best represents its year, for every year. There is only one problem, I cannot get a stock, original, or stock restored '78 to the show. I just cant find one. If you have a '78 Pinto (or a '77 that we can pretend is a '78) and can make it to Buena Park, CA on the 10th of April, please email me at

pintopower@hotmail.com

The car must be as stock as possible, period. I don't need perfect if the car is original but it has to be clean and in good shape. Please email or post your pictures. This is critical as I need to confirm with the shows organizers.

Let me know guys! This is a great chance to display your car with the Official Ford new cars and the other featured rides. It is near impossible to get into this group so consider it an honor.
I have many Pintos, I like them....

Guys, the cars chosen to be 'spotlighted' at the FFF events are top notch in all aspects.  We do not choose those cars which are invited to be showcased.  Those cars/trucks that are chosen are the cream of the crop in every way.

Pintopower' requests are in no way meant to disparage the efforts of anyone here.  It is just a reality of the situation.

Please, come on out to Knotts this year and take in the sights.  It is a really good gathering of the best of everything that is FORD.
the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!
Of course money helps too!!!

The 78 wagon is ready ,however I'm working my A$$ of on the S&H,  I would not say it's "the cream of the crop" in any way. This car is original not restored. The cyl head is at the machine shop, the steering rack is being rebuilt, heater box is out and core needs replacing. Oh yeah my exhaust manifold is cracked and needs replacement. I'm running out of time should I keep going or just bring the 78.

Bad news today, my cylinder head is not repairable. I do have a 2.3 turbo engine that is built & ready however the point is to bring a stock 77 S&H.  I will not be bringing the Starsky car down to FFF this year.   Bummer.
