FordPinto.com Goals
1) Create a community of Pinto owners, enthusiast, Racers, or Pinto seekers that can share stories, pictures, successes, failures, & exchange ideas, & resources to create or enhance further interest in the Pinto for newbie’s or Pinto veterans alike.
2) Assist fully in the development of parts resources or parts remanufacturing as opportunities present themselves. FordPinto.com stands with any individual or any company that endeavors to sell, remanufacture or otherwise distribute parts for any year model Ford Pinto or Mercury Bobcat.
3) Understand the Ford Motor Company's shortfalls with respect to the Pinto and in no way diminish the importance, the tragedies & the lessons of history & its impact on the present.

It's not too often you come in contact with a true character who has a dynamic personality, much less one with a beautiful 1973 Pinto Wagon. Jim O'Reilly is one of those people. I could write a story just about him, but his car is just as impressive. Jim, the retired owner of a garage, was on the look out for a new toy. After answering an ad for a 1957 Ford Ranchero, he drove 2 hours to take a look. It wasn't long after his arrival that he was disappointed in the 57 Ranch and was about to leave. Then he noticed a covered car in the detached garage. He asked what it was and the owner uncovered it. It was an almost new Pinto station wagon. That was it. Jim had to have it. And, as Jim claims, another two hours of hard negotiation and the car was his!

A battery, some air in the tires, and some fresh gas and it started right up. After a 2 hour drive home at 60 MPH he was hooked. He purchased the car in 2006 with only 36,393 miles on it. Shortly after getting the car home, Jim began to clean the interior, removing the nicotine smell. Another two months of cleaning and airing the car out, and Jim was more than happy to take the Pinto to several car shows and cruises.

Jim has only had a computer for a little over a year and has passed some major mile stones in learning the new technology, and to no surprise he had made it to FordPinto.com. It wasn't long before he helped stage the Ohio PCCA Get Together in 2008... That's where we first saw images of Jim's car, and all we have to say is, "Wow! That's a nice wagon!"
