Aeronautics engineers of the past became the Motorhead sages of today and all you have to do is salute their service and look under the hood :D

Dwayne! Didn't you post a picture on here of your Mazda 323 with the 12 foot lumber load? If so its time for it again.

Nope, that wasn't me.  I've never owned but one Mazda, and that was a 626 which was never used for hauling lumber; at least not during my time of ownwership.

Took me 3 years to build my Boss 302 Mustang and only 1 year of racing it to go broke. It used up a set of slicks every race and a half. Even the year old ones cost me $300 a set each time. The high dollar boys had a new set every race. I did out last them by driving with my head and not my foot. I ended up second in points for the year. I raced the car 11 times in that one year plus I made the field for a Trans Am race but could not start because of a broke rear end. Say la vee for sure.

Only a good wreck will tell so I hope we will never know. Very nice car except under the hood. Doesn't look like much effort was spent there.

Time passes way too fast !

Truck)s)..... My 2012 diesel was off warranty & acting up. Had the delete done. He just "flashed" the computer & put it in tow mode, giving me an extra 40 HP. ( no tuner so I can make changes)
The (about) 7' long "cruse missile" muffler was removed & a (custom) straight pipe installed.

If I had known the truck would perform as well as it now does, I'd have done the delete from new !
Awesome power now & went from (about) 800 km per tank of fuel to over 1000 km per tank !

Sounds good!  Hopefully it will serve you faithfully for many more years.

Dwayne :)

Dick, I'm glad to hear it's still running! To me the cars people build and modify themselves in their garage or shop, have so much more personality than high dollar builds, for people who never even work on the car.

Pintosopher, please keep the pictures coming!
Jack , I tend to agree, my least satisfying conversations come from talking to a " previous owner built this one" driver. But not everyone is a true gearhead in this world of IT laden economics.  I'll keep digging for new images, my gallery needs work to draw more from.

It's a para Dux in my world of nirvana...

Graveyard Carz is a television show on at 7pm eastern on the Velocity channel. They specialize in restoring really tore up old Mopar muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. They're located in Springfield, Oregon about five miles from where Keith lives in Eugene. Pretty good show, all Mopar, and a lot of details.

P.S.
The owner's a bit nuts!
