Sir Thomas check the over all length of the Mustang drive shaft. With the one you have. It should work without doing any cutting all you need is to remove the slip yoke from your Pinto drive shaft and change the U joints from a 1310 to 1330 hybrid and add the T-5 slip yoke. But I'm not 100% sure. I have heard about cutting the T-5 drive shaft to fit. You also will have to do somethingalbou t your cooling system as the 2.3 engine is longer. The 2.0's have a straight mount for the radiator and the 2.3 have a kick out. Some have moved the radiatorby mounting it forward etc. As for 74 turbowagon yes you need the complete T-5 ,drive shaft, engine , EEC wiring harness , Exhaust (No your 1 3/4" or 2.0 " will not work) etc. But to really make things work you need to keep the following from your car. The oil pan, oil dip stick, oil pick up, mounts and add T-5 trans mount to the old trans mount from your Pinto...You will also need a set of pedals for a Pinto if your car is an automatic to add the clutch. No a Mustang set from the downer car will not work....There is allot of info here and of course at Turboford.org but not at turbopinto it's not working...
