With my experience V8's are easily tunable and

With inline 4's (or anything else in line with carburation) takes precision and skill to tune

Really they are the same to tune and get running "right" .there are plenty of poorly tuned v8's around too. with a 4 or a 6 it is plenty apparent when things are not in order. a v8 disguises these facts much easier. twice the power pulses per revolution vs a 4 banger and usually a copious amount of cubic inches to compensate for a bad tuneup. So short answer yes they are more forgiving of poorly done tuning or upgrades but done right the playing field is level.

There's nothin' faster than cubic inches, Except rectangular dollars.
Modest beginnings start with the single blow of a horn man..    Now when you get through with this thing every dickhead in the world is gonna wanna own it.   Do you know anything at all about the internal combustion engine?
