Gonna get my pinto her own savings account. She wants me to have air conditioning (she's so thoughtful), and she knows how hot it gets in Nevada.

Too late, gas tank is out, front end is off, front suspension is coming down the weekend after xmas for a rebuild. after that the rear comes off so i can get the springs redone and powder-coated.

Uh oh, not another VW fan?  LOL

I have a Bug and 2 Busses. Hubby had a Gia once but I never drove it. I have never had a Squareback.  If one happened to come along for  the right price I would probably get it. LOL

So what's your plans? Going to put a Pinto motor in it, or put the Squareback motor in your Pinto? LOL

I have come to realize that I am powerless to cuteness of a rusty old Pinto.

Got mine a Bob's Log center mount turbo exhaust manifold with thermal coating and 38mm external waste-gate :)

It thanked me by sitting utterly still in the garage and staring at me...........

It looks like Ruby's getting her broken bolt removed and a new set of alternator bracket mounting bolts. It's not much, compared to the gift she gave me- a once-in-a-lifetime trip and a reminder of a long-buried and forgotten dream of driving my Pinto to Gettysburg!  ;D
One can never have too many Pintos!
