found in my barn
« on: August 20, 2012, 10:46:03 PM »
We took this olds to a car show on sunday.  A long time friend of angie's has had this car for many years and we decided to take it to a local car show for him.  he can't drive it any more due to a stroke he had a few years back. Was a fun day with many people stopping to take a look at the 1960 oldsmobile...

how much shorter is a pinto compared to a 60 olds??  look below.  we took the pinto out of the barn today to get her ready for the trailer trip to get the exhaust done later in the week.

cheers

Pintos sure are small !

I have a picture of mine parked between my 07 F-350 crew/long box & the Wife's 07 Ranger. Car looks tiny between them !

Agreed! Last night when I got off work there was a huge 2011 Ford Truck parked next to my Pinto & the car was so small compared to that truck. Never saw the car as that small until it was next to that truck.

My Pinto is parked in the garage beside my 1979 Lincoln Continental Collector's Series - the big sedan makes the Pinto look rather small and insignificant ::) .

it is funny when you think of a pinto as a small car yet park one beside a smart car... LOL  I guess back in the day thought they were considered small.

Reeves  I bet a pinto can almost fit into the back of a F-350 long box.... that would be like having the pinto as a spare tire...  then again... maybe that is why the smart car was made.

dwayne i can picture a lincoln beside a pinto, damn those must be 20 feet long also.

cheers

Park a '72 Honda 600 coupe next to a Pinto and the Pinto looks like a limo!

I was at a car show a few weeks ago and my big bumper '74 was parked next to a '63 split window Corvette.  I was surprised to see that they are the exact same length.
