The Bobcat name appears to be still in favor at Ford.  I just stumbled across this, but the news has apparently been out for a few years already.  Think of a 70's Bobcat with the the new Bobcat engine.  Poor mechanical match but fun with the names.  Looks like a impressive engine.

I like it.  I think that the strides made in the last 10 years with engine/fuel management are what will save the gasoline fueled ICE's in the future. 
If only some of these developments had been available 40 years ago.  It takes dreamers who stick with their dreams to make this kind of stuff happen.
