Another junk yard topic !
« on: November 18, 2011, 05:03:59 AM »
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v140/DerrickJB/Junk%20Yard%20Finds/

Had last Friday off so washed the truck. Next door is a junk yard. Has 8' (old) boards with about 4-8" spacing. I could see old cars, so went in & asked the fellow if I could walk around & take pictures.
I guess he also has another place loaded up, but didn't go. Thought I'd have time to do on another day.....should have went. Got snow now.

Got to spend some time with him talking cars. He knows a fellow that has a garage with 3 bays. Car in one bay, the other two bays are shelves floor to ceiling......l oaded to over flowing with NOS Ford parts. 2/3rds performance parts. (contact info is/was to be sent to me)

He told me of another fellow that has Ford 427s & B2 engines.....st ill in crates. Story is, he will not part with them for any money.

Not sure if this link to the photo bucket folder will work ?

If the link doesn't work, do you know which one I need to post ? Didn't want to post 26 pictures & eat up band width.

My first thought was, "Holy smokes (or something similar  ;) ), a '56 Meteor.  How rare!".

Then I checked to see where you were and it's still rare, but not as rare.

Cool pics.  Thanks.
