As we peruse the day, and wonder how..
We could have elected some sacred Cow
Our many icons of the Golden dream..
Shattered in pieces, as the markets scream
The fools of many, the ignorance abounds
Like so many canine, those ravenous hounds
Our days sleeping in ,full of useless pap..
We tune in , tune out and absorb all the crap
Oh golden age, we're now our own Gods..
We spank our republic, and educate clods
For now the chaos, the bill is due..
We're going to change this, or a decade we'll rue
As our forefathers predicted, no matter how remote..
The power to preserve it ,lies in when you cast a vote

 I met a girl that had virtue, she had looks , and I thought so too
We went down to cast  our vote, our last right,the card we smote
 As the night wore on , the derision grew, so many bailed, and counted few
We cashed out, and took the cents, for now the value not paying rents
 And in the streets, the mobs did rule, they took it all, not a fix or a tool
 For apathy had ruled the day, the sacred right had gone astray
 The populace wimpered and cried remorse, they had been taken by a man named Soros
 So Buy Buy , Miss American Why,
 You can't save it with stimulus , so shall we even try?
  So catch the last train to the Lone Star state..
 Even John Galt , Rearden, And Dagny can relate..
