77 Mustang 2
« on: January 29, 2012, 09:56:13 PM »
I didn't want to put this in the classifieds because it is not a Pinto. That and we probably won't have it for to long, but I wanted to throw it in here to see if anybody needed anything off of a 77 Mustang 2.

We are keeping the rear end, and front suspension ( I think). I am also keeping the center consal, the one that goes down the tunnel, but I do have a red one for sale if anyone is interested. It does have a chunk out of the padding. I will have to find a pic of that.

Anything else anyone is interested in, let me know and I will try to pull it when we strip it!

I can ship the smaller stuff, but big stuff will need to be picked up locally!

Oh, I can deliver big stuff to Knott's if needed!!

What is the engine and tranny in it? If it is a V-8 I would be interested in the radiator, fan, and fan shourd.

It is a V8. I'm not sure on the radiator and stuff though. Hubby said someone has messed with that area. ( Not sure what he meant exactly, lol) I took some pics of it and if you want to PM me your email, I will send some to you!

It's too bad it's a smog year 'stang. I want one so bad! What's wrong with it, besides the messed up steering column and instrument panel? The interior looks great.

One can never have too many Pintos!

Actually the column isn't bad. We had to drop it to steer it. No key. So we just turned the whole then to straighten the wheels enough to push it straight. The cluster is messed up though.

Yah, if it wasn't for being a smog year, I would have got this one for a driver. It is really a nice looking car.

Just thought of something else. How are the "FORD" letters & the headlight trim rings on there?

Some of the letters were broke.  The headlight trim is good, but I don't think it will fit a Pinto?

Ok, the car has officially been crushed. We did save the fenders, seats, grille, and stuff like that, but everything else is history.
