Ok, It's snowing and you have a 200 Hp Pinto with rally Blizzak  tires and you have the Big stick handbrake, Pretend you're Norwegian and the speeds are only in the limits of your ego :D

I'm trying to imagine it being 68 degrees and dry but unfortunately, it is cold and snowing at the moment. :(

Imagine the days are all 68 degrees and dry. Perfect breezes calm your sweaty brow. You have the perfect shop and all the tools you need. Jay Leno's Garage is on the TV, and Tim Allen is coming by for a BBQ later. Then you realize you need that Lotto ticket and wake up! :o

Saturday August 19th, 2017
Come join us again for another Pinto vs Maverick Car Show Challenge where we will join forces with the Pinto Car Club of America and the Maverick Comet Club International for a really fun show/event for our fourth year running!!
(Be sure to view the Youtube from the 2014 and 2015 show:  "2014 Pinto Picnic" and "2015 Pinto Showdown".)  Check out all the cars and all the fun and turn up your speakers to enjoy the vids.

We are adding a Friday night casual event for those coming into town on Friday. We will meet at Painesville on the Square car cruise with DJ Friday evening 5pm-9pm located at the very center of town Painesville, Ohio on the square.

Get ready for an action packed car show day Saturday!! We will meet at the Chops Grille and Taphouse Restaurant parking lot, 1752 S. Broadway Geneva, Ohio 44041 across from the Motel 6 at the State Route 534 exit off I-90 (30 miles east of Cleveland) 10AM sharp

At 10:30AM Saturday morning we will caravan thru the strip of Geneva-On-The-Lake with police escort. The strip is packed with visitors in this lakeside resort town that never left the 50's and 60's. Last year the visitors stopped everything they were doing to cheer on the Pintos/Bobcats and Mavericks/Comets. It was an amazing spectacle you won't want to miss!! Along the strip watch for vintage arcade games, amusement rides, bars, restaurants, and wineries with the beautiful Lake Erie backdrop.

We show the cars at the Geneva Township Park, 5045 Lake Rd. East SR 531, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio just a 2 minute walk off the strip where the spectators will roam the cars. Once again the park is right on the shores of Lake Erie.

The picnic starts at noon and if the year of your car is even, bring side dish and if odd bring dessert. (Electricity is available). We will provide the burgers, dogs, buns, fixins, etc. (Bring your own beverages). We will have a DJ playing 70's music in the park.

The MCCI will vote their favorite Pinto/Bobcat and the PCCA will vote their favorite Maverick/Comet for some really cool 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies. We will even have long distance awards. Last year we pulled from Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and all over Ohio.

The fun doesn't stop here. At 3pm will leave the park in caravan style where we will meet at a very well attended Saturday night cruise-in at Annabelle's Diner in Mentor, Ohio 20 miles west of Geneva-on-the-Lake. Annabelle's is a very cool 50's diner with great food and live band.

So come join the fun and also look for door prizes, 50/50, dash plaques, window clings, selling event t-shirts, trophies, and more!!! Don't miss it!!

I want to be there this year. My car is alive and for the first time it will be well tested by that point. Since I will be driving her to car shows there is no reason she can't make it.

Well I'll be darned. I had to move my vacation and inadvertently moved it to the week of the show. That means I will be able to get there earlier than anticipated. In theory. Now to get busy on my car & get brakes to work & not leak!

Thanks Dick. It's about 3 hours from my house, and I have been trying to get there every year since it started about five years ago. Something has always prevented me from going. This year is supposed to be different (although my tranny has other ideas lol). Looking forward to going and having a good time

Pull the driveshaft, make a tow bar, and GO. Why not and easy to do. If you don't go you may never get there. Shows all around the country are gone now because of lack of interest. Go while you can and take PICTURES!
