The Concours d'LeMons would like to extend a special invitation to all Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II owners!!

Due to surprisingly enthusiastic demand Concours d?LeMons will stage three shows dedicated to the Oddball, Mundane and truly Awful of the automotive world:

Concours d'LeMons Box Wine Country Classic
Held in conjunction with the 24Hours or LeMons Sears Pointless race.

The inaugural Concours d?LeMons show in Monterey, CA was the run-away favorite of the Pebble Beach Automobile Week 2009. LeMons aficionado?s nation-wide requested more venues to revel in bad design and poor mechanical execution, so we are packing up the whole freak show and taking it on the road. Luminaries of the automotive will serve the role of capricious Guest Judges as they risk their reputations for bribes of food and cheap booze. Chincy trophies are awarded for classes such as Needlessly Complex Italian, Rueful Britannia, Bad(ge) Engineering and Most Dangerous. Presentation of the coveted ?Worst of Show? trophy culminates the disorganized award ceremonies.

About the Concours d?LeMons:
The Concours d'LeMons celebrates the Oddball, Mundane, and truly Awful of the automotive world. It?s the anti-concours for owners and spectators that don?t take themselves, their cars or the car show world seriously. The same miscreants that brought you Billetproof and the 24Hours of LeMons founded the show in 2008, pulled off the surprise hit of Pebble Beach Auto Week in 2009 and have continued and expanded the joke into 2010. I will be there in Monterey again this year with a few of my Fiats and a few of my Pintos. I already booked a room on Cannery Row...can't take the money with you when you die after all!

Guest Judges for Concours d'Lemons at The Mitty include:
Peter Brock - well.. he's Peter Freaking Brock !!! Designer of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe
Bill Warner - Founder of the Amelia Island Concours
Tim Suddard - Publisher of Classic Motorsport and Grassroots Motorsport

participants at both will get to take their cars on a couple of laps around Infineon and Road Atlanta respectively.. . at a stately pace. All the normal Concours d'LeMons shenanigans will be encouraged, bribing judges, dressing in car complementary costume and general irreverence for all things stuffy concours.

Looks like we will be taking the Ghost to the Infeneon show!! That is if she is excepted!! LOL I read that you have to send a pic of the car in, and then they will let you know if you get in or not!

Kimmy, for a minute I thought you misspelled Inferno, like the Fab Fords show last year (102 degrees)! LOL! I was looking all over the Fab Fords entry form looking for where it said Must Send Picture Of Car Before It Can Be Considered. Whew! LMAO!!!

Maybe I will. Problem is, I just put in an Mustang II 8" rear and it has a loud whine. May still be drivable though.

Well, they said I could still register for the Infineon show, so I will plan on being there. I dropped off my 8" center section to have it repaired/rebuilt, so all should be good.

If anyone wants PCCA shirts, I plan on bringing all the shirts I have with me to Sonoma and FFF.
I currently have:
Blue Polos - Small X 2, Medium X 3, Large X 4, X Large x1
Black polo - Large x 1
These all have the embroidered logos on the front

I also have T-shirts, which I have not set up in the store yet.
I had to order a few to check the quality before I start selling them.
Men's and Women's T-shirts with the logo digitally printed, small in front like the polo and large, centered on the back of the shirt. They all look great!

I have right now 1 each of:
Mens Large in Royal Blue, Navy, Grey, Black and Cream and 1 each of Womens Medium in Pale Yellow and Sky Blue.

I need to get these up in the store, maybe this week.

Hey Paul (skunky56), we missed you at Infineon (Sears Point). It was only Kim (Pintogirl) and I there. We got to do 2 parade laps around the racecourse. I'll have some video up soon, nothing earth shattering, we had to follow an old Dodge van around the track. the most fun you could have was to lay back and then run hard into a corner. It's a pretty funky race with some pretty funky looking racecars. I heard that Monterey is a little bigger and better.

Hey Kim, how'd that video turn out?

Yah, to ad to Joe's comment about being the only 2 Peeps there, I figured the crew that showed at the Vallejo show would have showen up at this one! It wasn't to far from the Vallejo one! You guy's affraid of getting wet? LOL

Forgot to ask, I heard you won an award, did I hear right?

Here is the award I won!! It's called a "FrightPig". Means "one who pours money into something that most likely wont be worth much in the end!" Or something like that! I thought it was pretty funny!!! :lol:

I actually love the award, it was better then the other ones, in my eyes!! LOL I don't like wine and that was the other awards!

Just saw the video, very cool. I know for sure that my car doesn't smoke anymore. I wish my son had shot video out the back of my car of yours on the track.. I downloaded several of the pics too.
I didn't get any award, but they handed me one of those little pigs anyway. Guess I'll see you at Knotts. I have freeze out plugs to change now....always something!
