looking for a nice 1973 Runabout
« on: August 22, 2015, 05:42:34 AM »
Preferably a blue one black interior but willing to repaint. Looked a three beat up cars and passed, two of them in California. Seems to be a lot of nicer wagons but I would love a Runabout. Was my first car it was stolen in 1984.  I have a nice set of slotted rims waiting for it.

Not sure if these runabouts are geographically useable for you.  Goulds is located a little south of Miami, so it would be a haul.  The 73 has been retrofitted with a 2.3, T5 transmission, and a carbed intake.  This 73 was on CL a year ago in St. Augustine, FL by itself and the info provided in that ad stated it was originally a 1600 with a 4spd before the engine swap.  Both the 73 and 72 apparently need mechanical work, not sure about body conditions.
