'72 front brake upgrade
« on: September 11, 2007, 06:18:58 PM »
I saw a reference to doing this swap elsewhere on this site, but there wasn't much guidance posted.  I could really use some advice.

I want to replace the stock '72 calipers with '74 up calipers since high performance pads are readily available for '74 and up calipers (and are needed for "track days").  I'd rather not change the control arms or tie rods.  What is involved in making this conversion ?  Thanks. Leo

WOW I must have missed this post.....
I do not know any conversion for the early Pinto caliper to the later Pinto caliper.
I.ll be watching this post for more info....
