Front sway bar-adaptable to the rear?
« on: June 24, 2015, 12:22:58 AM »
Ok, I know. Strange question.
But this was done on a Ranchero(using the Ranchero front bar), although it took some adapting. And that got me thinking.

Since I have the front sway bar but plan on getting a bigger one or not using one at all depending on engine clearance, I was wondering if anyone has used the front sway bar on the rear? Would be with an 8 inch rear end.My car came without a rear bar, and had the 6.75 rear.
If so, any and all pictures/advice would be appreciated.

I realize this is not going to be a bolt in if it is even possible. Just trying to think outside the box and without using the currently empty wallet.

Thanks,
Russ

I don't see why not. It's just 4 mounting points. Certainly going to some fabbing, but anything is possible.
