This is the throttle cable/bell crank. I use a portion of the stock unit attached to a bell crank and a Lokar 24 inch cable to the carb

I routed the heater hose down so it would not crowed the top of the motor and built a heat shield for it, ( the 3" exhaust down pipe im sure will get a little hot)

Looks good to see a 2000cc live on with some boost. Here's a picture of my old 72 that I turboed back in 1985. As often said, wish I still had that car!

Today I was working on the rear suspension. Got the leaf springs all apart and cleaning them up. Im going to add one leaf ( 1/2 leaf) to the front side of the spring and clamp it up for an anti spring wrap deal. I ordered my shackle kit ( rear shackle and front eye) from Prothane ( kit # 6-1051), my rear sway bar brackets and end link ( also Prothane). I also bought from Ebay ( I hope this guy does not flake cuz I payed with Paypal) a PowerTrax No-Slip posi unit. I say that becouse I payed on Thursday and still have not heard from the guy ??? After I get the suspension installed and the rearend in, I can build my fuel cell/NOS/battery box unit that will be recessed into the floor of the trunk ( leaving enough space for the 3" exhaust, I hope :o

Here Is a pic of the spring package. As you can see the spring size gets smaller from the main leaf down to the smallest that sits on the perch. The leaf in the foreground is the extra leaf I am adding. As you can see by lineing up the center hole of them all, the 1/2 Leaf is forward of center and on top of the main leaf.

Here is the cool part. I made them. YES ITS HARD TO CUT A SPRING.....How ever It can be done with about 4 sawsall blades and a can of WD40 per cut. I used the second leaf from a spair leaf package I had and was able to get both pieces out of it.

Next was the spring/shackle kit. I ordered a kit for a 67/68 mustang from summit part # PTP-6-1051. This is a Prothane urethane kit. The dimentions were correct except the OD on the small side ( shackle end). I did a quick mod on that and it all works. Here are some pic's ( some not verry good) of the install.
