help with installing a block heater

all the information i have found says for a 1977 pinto 2.8lt to use the RFF plug but has anyone ever used the RF?

`Got a block heater on mine , 2.8 it is on the right side under the alternator , can take some photos if it for you , this one was on the car when I brought it years ago ,
76 Pinto sedan V6 , 79 pinto cruiser wagon V6 soon to be diesel or 4.0
