Topic: Fuel injection

I have a dilemma.
I installing a 2.3 fuel injected turbo into my 75 wagon so I need to revamp the fuel system. I want to install a fuel cell because I have a pin hole in the stock tank.
Do I;
1) Repair the hole in the stock tank while its out set it up for an in tank fuel pump and forget the fuel cell?
 
2)Install the fuel cell and set it up for an external high pressure pump?
With an external pump setup, would I need a serge tank?
Fuel cell would be a 16gal. flat bottom if that matters
 
With the fuel cell I will have to cut the rear floor and make a sump area to mount the cell into..
Any insight welcome.

I was going to put a fuel cell in my 80 wagon but decided not to. I don't really want to hassle with cutting the back of the car open and sheet metal everything back in...saves time. I'm going to put a sump at the rear of the stock tank and run that. That way i can fill the car normally and have the fuel gauge as well. It's all personal preference.

Seems to me to have some advantages: larger fuel lines & in-tank fuel pump.

I thought of doing that but if I go that route I will need to install a surge tank/sump at the bottom inside of the gas tank to keep the pump from starving.

I am thinking about sending my tank and the turbocoupe pump to Moyer to do the intake setup. I do not remember there being a fuel float on the turbocoupe fuel pump. How is the fuel level gauged?

In tank not intake. I also read about but do not remember there being a second fuel pump on the 88 tc. Will that be needed? Please answer. I know this post has been done before. I have navigated through pages and pages. There are a few who have sent the tanks to Moyer but the specifics are left out.

So there is a seperate float inthe tc. Did anyone ever find a properly functioning aftermarket sending unit? Correct fit and ohm range?
