front seat belt removal

I need to remove my rear side panels and wonder how the seat belt( shoulder harness ) slides through the slot in the rear panel.

My 76 pinto panels have a split in the material. Same for my 77 bobcat

You have to pop out the trim piece in the opening and you will see how they slide out.

thanks everyone , i pulled the vinyl the PO had on and notice the slits in the rear panels.   interior is now gutted and frame connectors in.
