1976 STREET TOY
« on: October 01, 2005, 09:25:19 AM »
we have taken the pinto to our local emissions testing station and passed with flying
colors after a little detuning. funny some of the personnel didn't even know what
kind of car it was.nor did they notice that you have to open the hatch to put fuel
in the car. also put 2" lowering kit in the rear, car rode like crap. guess it extended
the shocks out to much so i installed 2" shock extensions and improved to ride a
100%.went to a local mall about 20 miles away that has a car show every Friday night but could not cruise very much as the car temp got up to about 230. i have
got to work on a better cooling system for this car. sure got a lot of looks at the car
show and made me realize all the work and money we have invested in this car was
well worth it. this winter we are going to rebuild the front end and try to come up
with a better cooling system and redo the exhaust system. any ideas would be
welcomed.

What is your configuration? Take some pictures. Let's see what you have.
Started with a Bobcat wagon. Then a Cruising wagon. Now a Chocolate brown 77 wagon. I will enjoy this car for a long time. I'm in. High_Horse
