« on: November 10, 2015, 01:03:31 PM »
I have a 1988 Thunderbird 2.3l turbo motor looking to eliminate the power steering pump putting the motor in a 1972 ford pinto need the room hard to tell from the pictures want to keep the original alternator with serpentine belt was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or have a part number I can use for this application  let me know you can also call me at 716-907-3803

Thank you
Robert

Take a look at a Ford Merkur AC mount. You can use it to place the alternator on the pass side of the engine where it leaves the driver side uncovered to be easy to work on. Bracket is a direct bolt on and requires only a single new hole to be drilled plus about 2" of the brackets top to be sawed off. Easy fix
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.
