  • blupinto: Alberto, there's a keen '75 Runabout in your neck of the woods on craigslist. I wouldn't mind having it myself! It has a vinyl-top! It's only $600 I think!

  • dga57: jaymescarroll,  Since you only have one new crack, it may be possible to have it repaired.  Body shops have long repaired and sealed cracks in dashes from accidents.  I'm not familiar with exactly the technique they use, but it would be worth looking into.  Don't think it would be of any help for the more common severe cracking on cars of this age.  Let us know if you come up with an answer!

  • popbumper: Oops, Jaymes, don't bother posting in "General Questions", you won't get much. Do a search on the site for "dash pad" to get as much info as you can. In short, there are NO easy fixes for these, unfotunately, though some have recovered with vinyl, covered with a plastic cap, or restored the whole thing (as I have - with mixed results).

  • pintogirl: I can say I have no idea how to fix the dash. I would put your question in the "General Questions" section and see if you get more help there!

I'm not absolutely certain, but I think you have to have ten other posts, before you can access the Classified Ad section to post an ad.
